Quiet gaming mousepad with a comfortable mouse rest. I received this after 3 days with free shipping to Virginia. This mouse pad was to replace my old school Steel Series 3s aluminum pad. The aluminum pads seem to have increased drag if the surrounding environment is cold or if the user fails to maintain it (clean it). It is also noisy and sometimes a weird grinding noise would come from them. Sometimes this occurs right after a clean too! I decided to try out these plastic mouse pads and I must say I am very impressed with my Razer Vespula. It is quiet and the wrist pad is thin enough to be unobtrusive during gaming in my opinion. I have a smaller desk and this mouse pad utilizes every available centimeter left. It stays firmly on my desk and it’s made of weird smooth coat of paint over wood that doesn’t offer much traction. The Vespula has a speed and control side. The difference is noticeable enough where it would make a difference which side you choose to use. It would seem razor has abandoned its pride in producing quality products Bought to replace my Razor Exactmat (which lasted me at had to be 8 years?). Compared to the exactmat who’s base was made from aircraft grade aluminum this is junk. The base for this is some incredibly cheap plastic. After 6 months the mouse surface is already peeling away from the base!Works alright as a mouse pad, though the friction feet pads leave quite a lot to be desired (unless if free floating is your thing).Go spent a little more to find something with significantly higher quality.
worthy of 5 stars Whether you game, work, or just browse the internet this mouse pad is fantastic!It’s not too small for gamers or anyone! I had a mouse pad half this size with an old ibm optical mouse before and that worked just fine for me. This plus my new mouse beats that by 100x… at least.pros:-don’t understand why people may say it’s too small. most true gamers use high sensitivity-love both sides, prefer the smooth side though-comfortable wrist rest-stays still under heavy use-seems pretty durable.
