A great product that gets shot down too quickly. The Strike 7 keyboard is a great gamer accessory. Even if you don’t play games, it still is a fantastic keyboard. Here are my pros and cons about this product
Didn’t last a year, and Mad Catz won’t stand by it. So I got this keyboard for Christmas last year, and it worked fine for a few weeks, It does feel good under your hands, the keys kinda suck as they are not mechanical. The problem is that after a week or two, the VENOM screen started freezing, and it doesn’t work when running every application, Skyrim for example, while you are playing Skyrim, you can’t use any of the venom features, the clock stops, you can’t adjust the volume, or use the timers or anything at all, For a while the freezing could be fixed by a quick restart, but then it got worse and I had to unplug the keyboard completely from the wall and computer, then restart and it might work on the first try, sometimes it would take 3 or 4 restarts before it worked again, and then just randomly the VENOM screen stopped working completely, I don’t mean that the touch screen wasn’t working right, it just stopped working period, the screen blacked out and every time I restart the VENOM screen just keeps rebooting and never starts…
Would love to give it good review, but….. It shouldn’t even get one star, but that is the minimum rating necessary.
